Microneedling

Microneedling Treatments at Cosmetology Hub in Leicester

Microneedling, also commonly referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a highly effective skin rejuvenation treatment. It boosts collagen production and elastin in the skin, helping reduce the appearance of scarring, wrinkles, wounds, skin discoloration and more. The anti-ageing treatment is a great choice for rejuvenating the youthful glow and treating skin conditions. Microneedling pierces microscopic needles into the skin and causes subtle, controlled injuries, in a safe and painless process. This kickstarts the bodies’ natural repair function. In turn, the body responds by enabling the production of collagen rich tissue allowing smoother, softer, clearer skin.

At Cosmetology Hub I use a medically licensed Derma FNS® Pen to deliver optimum results on the face or on small/medium areas. However, depending on the surface area, I may occasionally use a sterile disposable dermaroller if I feel it will deliver better results.

A customised hyaluronic acid mask is then applied increasing the skins ability to absorb active ingredients. This technique is highly effective at penetrating the much-needed goodness from specific products, into the skin and yields great results!
